No. Despite the name, there is no betting here — that’s the joke. No Way Bets never takes money, holds money, or pays money out. You play for points, bragging rights, and prizes your establishment puts up. It’s a pick’em game, the same kind of thing as an office football pool, just without the crumpled dollar bills.
Nothing. Signing up is free and playing is free, every week, all season.
Sign up with your email, then join the pool at an establishment that runs No Way Bets. Most players get invited by the establishment or by a friend already in the pool. If your favorite spot doesn’t have it yet, tell them about us — that’s how this grows.
Pick the winner of every NFL game each week. A right winner pick is worth 6 points. Each game also has two bonus questions: the spread call is worth +3 or −3, and the over-under call is worth +1 or −1. If a game has no betting line, the spread question simply doesn’t count for that game. The full rundown is on the How It Works page.
Once a week you can tag one game as your Upset Pick. If you picked the underdog in that game and they win, your 6 winner points double to 12. It only works on a real underdog — tagging the favorite gets you nothing extra. High risk, high reward, high comedy when it backfires.
You can change any pick right up until 15 minutes before that game’s kickoff. After that, the pick is locked and it rides.
Each pool’s prizes come from the establishment running it — a tab, wings, merch, whatever they’ve put up that week. If you win your pool for the week, you get an email with a QR code. Show it at the establishment, they scan it, and the prize is yours. Prizes are offered and handed out by the establishment, not by No Way Bets.
Yes — one account can join any number of pools, and your picks count in all of them. You make your picks once each week; every pool you’re in scores them separately against that pool’s players.
They’re optional, but skipping them is how you end up tied — or behind. The bonus points are usually what separates first place from the pack, so answer everything.
